Adaptable Reuse Glass top

What can I do with a approx 4 by 2.5 foot piece of glass (thats about .5 inch deep)? Part of a glass desk top. I have a patio, but virtually no room to use it inside as a desk. Thoughts?

Paint it with a couple layers of chalkboard paint. Frame it. Hang it somewhere or prop it against the wall and leave chalk around so guests can write / draw random things. I had a similar one in my bathroom and for years I kept some of the hilarious drawings and comments written on it by people.

Best answer: Just chatted the wife up, and we agree that the best idea we could come up with is build a small table (or even better, find one at a second hand store) with the top about an inch (could even be 3 to 4 inches) smaller than the glass. Make the top of the table structure out of "A" grade plywood and paint the entire table a dark glossy color. Here's the fun part. Layer dried leaves or flowers and sandwich with the glass between the painted plywood and the glass. Viola, coffee table for the patio. Don't be afraid to by a a tall table because cutting the legs off a table to make it shorter is a lot easier than finding the "perfect" coffee table height.

I put my random sheet of glass over the burner tops (I don't know what they are called) on my gas kitchen stove, to give myself more counter space, it works great for that.
