Nightlife in Quito

Nightlife recommendations in Quito outside of Mariscal Sucre. Travelling with my sister and our significant others in Ecuador and Galapagos for a few weeks in June. We will have a few nights here and there in Quito. I am looking for Nightlife and restaurant recommendations outside of Mariscal Sucre where we are staying. Music, galleries, etc. Thanks Me-fites.

Best answer: Go to La Ronda at night and walk around the colonial part of the city. Pretty good places to eat local food - try the choclo traposo! Also for a magnificent view of the city, eat at "El Ventanal". I know you wanted *outside* of Mariscal, but while there try eating at "Achiote". Its really good.
