Who to follow on Twitter - wife edition
May 14, 2012 1:58 AM   Subscribe

Which journalists, cultural commentators and other cultural figures do Twitter well?

Please help my wife follow interesting and funny people on Twitter.

Celebrities that are interesting on Twitter are also acceptable, as are cynical snarky types.

She's pretty new to Twitter, so she's just looking for anything interesting.

I tend to follow people in Education, so all my suggestions are the complete opposite of what she wants.

Thanks!

There are a lot of NPR/PBS journalists and shows that are on Twitter and use it well: Other random folk:

Response by poster: Thanks, all. I'll pass these on and start following Neil Gaiman myself!

I'll second Neil Gaiman and John Scalzi, and add Susan Orlean.

And along with Fake AP Stylebook, I really enjoy Guardian Style - a real stylebook, but with a fine sense of humor (and some snark).
