NameThatKid'sBookFilter, Take 20,896: trying to recall the name of an unusually funny choose-your-own-adventure-type book I read back in the proverbial day. Here's all the info I can recall:

- I read it back in the 80's or early 90's, but it's likely that I inherited it from an older cousin, so it could predate that era.
- It was a choose-your-own-adventure-style book, but I do NOT believe it was part of the formal "Choose Your Own Adventure" series.
- It was far funnier and more irreverent than most CYOA books.
- It had a futuristic/sci-fi theme: your character was trying to survive on a hostile alien planet. One of the running jokes was how EVERYTHING on the planet would kill you.
- The only lethal beast whose name I can recall was a "poisonous glamp". At one point, you find a fruit or vegetable and have the option of rubbing it on the glamp, or giving it to the glamp to eat.
- I seem to recall that there were also giant zebra-like creatures whose meat was (naturally) poisonous to eat.
- The cover MAY have been black and red. On the other hand, I may be thinking of the "ZORK" CYOA books (which this wasn't).

Thanks in advance, oh glorious HiveMind!
