What is this geometric figure? Is there a name for the figure inscribed in the circle here?

Best answer: Apparently the eight-pointed star is called the Star of Auskelis and is drawn in one, uninterrupted line. I don't know about the extra squiggle though.

Best answer: Other than an 8-pointed star? Or, if you want to be technical, an {8/3} star-polygon?
