Where can I find a (possibly newspaper) picture from 9/11/01?

After the terrorist events of Sept. 11, 2001, I remember seeing a photo of Disney World being evacuated. I've since not been able to find it, but would love to find it again.

I live in Orlando (both during 9/11/01 and now), so this may have been in an Orlando- or Florida-based newspaper. However, I really don't remember for sure, so it could have just been something I saw online.

I feel like I saw this photo within just a day or so of the attacks occurring. The photo was positioned with the photographer several hundred feet in front of the huge departure of Disney visitors for as far as the eye could see, (similar to this style of photograph) and either Cinderella's Castle or Epcot's Spaceship Earth was in the background.

Every couple of years, I try googling to find this photo again and never have any luck. Does anyone know where I could find this?

I don't think so, only because I really think there was several hundred feet worth of space between the group of people and the photographer.

Thank you, though!

Have you tried contacting the Disney Archives?

Not sure what their contact info is, but the recently retired archivist, Dave Smith, has an Ask Dave service.

I haven't tried that; I'll give it a shot, thanks!

The artist Banksy made a life-size figure of a Guantanamo Bay prisoner and left it in Disneyland, which prompted some kind of reaction from Disneyland. It was featured in his film Exit Through the Gift Shop. Could that be it? I'm not sure if Disneyland was evacuated for it, though.

I haven't seen Exit Through the Gift Shop, so I really don't know. Thank you, though!
