Looking for name of book about sleep

BookFilter: Book which I'm pretty sure was about sleep and wakefulness at different times of the day; what's the name?
It was structured around times of day and involved the author doing a variety of self-experiments while also talking to experts on the topic. I particularly remember him spending some time in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with no artificial light, and talking about first/second sleep.
Written sometime in the 2000s, male author. I sort of remember a multicolored cover, like pie slices with the title in the center in a white circle.

Not your book, but literally minutes ago I was reading this on the BBC website. The book mentioned there might also be of interest...

Response by poster: That BBC article was what reminded me of the book I was asking about. :) The book in the article sounds fascinating as well.
