How can I map the keyboard shortcuts from Apple Mail onto Outlook 2011 for Mac?

I'm a longtime Apple Mail user, but have been convinced to give Outlook 2011 for Mac a try, given a few quirks with our local exchange server. Unfortunately, all of the old Apple Mail shortcuts are ingrained in my brain.

Is there anyway to map all of (or the primary) keyboard shortcuts from Mail onto Outlook without doing each one manually in system preferences?

MacOS lets you set keyboard shortcut aliases for any application. Go to system preferences > keyboard > keyboard shortcuts. Hit the little + icon and you should be able to select Outlook, then you can map individual menu options to whatever key combination you want. The only caveat is that you need to type in the exact spelling of the menu option, so you'll need to tab between Outlook and Mail to enter them. Also, you have to do all of this manually, which might not work if you're hoping to import hundreds of shortcuts.

No, I don't think there is.
