Diagnosed with Growth Hormone Deficiency and want to hear about your experience

Were you diagnosed as an adult with Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency? Tell me about it!

Was it a challenge to get your insurance company to pay for treatment? What worked? What benefits did you notice from treatment? What brand of growth hormone did you use? Did you try different brands? Is it worth the cost/daily injection? If you stopped treatment, did it feel much worse to go back to your pre-treatment state? Anything else I should know?

It looks like there is a very small community on Patients Like Me for growth hormone deficiency. There are 3 people there between the ages of 40 and 49. You might want to ask these questions there as well.
