March vacation destinations starting from Germany!

Help us get away from Brrrlin! Where should we go on our honeymoon?

I'm looking for ideas for a honeymoon destination flying out of Berlin, Germany. We have about 7 to 10 days in mid-March with a budget up to 3000 Euros total.

We'd like to check as many of these boxes as possible:

1. Warm or hot (15 to 35 degrees). Preferably hot!
2. Simple to plan so we can relax and enjoy the time! All inclusives are ok.
3. Won't break the bank.
4. Interesting sights or things to do nearby.
5. No super long flights, max 10 hours.

Places that fit most of these requirements, but where one or both of us has already been: Malta, Tunisia, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba.

I'd love to hear your recommendations and ideas! Thank you so much in advance for helping me plan my getaway! :)

Best answer: Oman is niece. Great place and decent weather at this time. But a lot of hotels are expensive, partly because so much fruit and vegetables are flown in.

If you want to go cheaper then try Sri Lanka. Much cheaper is Egypt, but whether that is your bag is up to you. Both qualify in terms of flight times and things to see and do. All inclusives are not common in Sri Lanka.

Good itineraries for SL, and a good agent, is here: Boutique Sri Lanka.

Response by poster: Update! We went to the Red Sea in Egypt for our honeymoon. We got plenty of sunshine, the all-inclusive hotel was stellar and the price was right. We even got a bonus day stay when our flight back was delayed. I'd say it was a touch too early for beach weather (windy!!) but overall the best and cheapest option for warm weather near Europe in March.
