Where do writers go for artists?

Is there anywhere online a writer can find artists searching for a story?
Recent Something Positive strips have reminded me that I've got several ideas for webcomics, but I lack some of that 'Artistic Talent' the kids have these days.

Since when do you need artistic talent? I thought we were talking about webcomics.

You might have some luck posting to comic-related message-boards, but it'll be slim pickings. The biggest appeal of webcomics is that the creator doesn't need to compromise his/her vision to get reach an audience. If you want an artist to draw your vision, then that appeal is lost.

If you've got several ideas, I think you'll be better off picking one that will still work with crap art, and making it yourself. If it catches on, you can ask your fans if any of them can draw one of your other ideas.
