Any bug experts in the house?

Do you know what kind of bug this is? I found it crawling half-way up my wall this morning. That's not a bed bug is it? Please say it isn't.

My first guess would be a small/immature cockroach of some sort.

It's hard to tell the scale, but I think that's just an immature cockroach.

I think it's a juvenile cockroach.

No matter what it is, you're extremely unlikely to see a bed bug out in the open, especially on a wall, in the daytime. They crawl back into their little cracks and hide come dawn.

I also think it looks like a small cockroach.

Entomologist here - definitely not a bed bug. Looks like an immature german cockroach to me.

For future reference, I've had a lot of luck with the Yahoo! Groups BugClub.
