Apparently I wasn't at my own wedding

[facebook idiot filter] I can't tag myself in my own photos?! Help!!

I can't believe I'm asking a question about Facebook, but this is really starting to bug me. I created a photo album on Facebook with some of my wedding photos. For some reason, I cannot tag myself in the photos. Technically, I suppose, I can. I can get my name to appear when you hover over me. But the photos won't show up in "photos of me", that stream with all the (obviously) photos of me.

I've tried everything I can think of. I tried to tag myself originally when I uploaded with the face recognition thing. I've tried tagging the photos while viewing the album. I've tried tagging the photos in the "edit album" mode (that actually results in a "your tags were unable to be saved at this time" error, and it discards all the tags of myself. I've even tried having my husband tag me from his account. Nothin'.

If it makes any difference I did that developer hack to get Timeline early, and I swear it's been a little buggy ever since. Is there perhaps some way I can temporarily un-Timeline and fix my photos (if that is even the problem)?

So, yeah. It's a pretty silly question. How the eff do I tag myself in my wedding photos so they show up in my "photos of me" stream? Clearly this is not the end of the world or anything, but I would kind of like my wedding to be as immortalized in on my profile in some small way.

Have you checked your privacy settings? There might be something in there that is interfering with showing you pictures tagged as you.

I'm not sure I've ever seen my own photos show up in the "photos of me" stream. I've always assumed that stream was specifically for photos other people had posted.

It sounds like your privacy settings are set to not allow tagging.

Best answer: Guys, there is no privacy setting that prevents a user from tagging herself in their own photos.

I'm experiencing the same issue you are, annie o, and it started well before I switched to timeline. (New photos of me stopped appearing in "Photos of you" months ago for me.)

I reported it as a bug. You should, too. The more people report it, the more likely they'll fix it.

Response by poster: Huh. Well it's both comforting and annoying to know that other people have this problem. I actually submitted a report about this a month or so ago, but I just sent another one with a screenshot this time. Hopefully they fix it.. Or perhaps this is some weird new "feature"? Who knows..

Yeah I am experiencing an issue like this as well - it's not just you. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the "checking you in" feature, but I don't care enough to mess around with it.
