Cool Workout Names?

I'm trying to motivate my friends to keep the workout routine they set for themselves this year. I thought if we had cool nicknames it might help motivate us. For example, The Machine, Animal, Beast, Hollywood... and then I ran out of steam. Any suggestions?

Check out BodyRock; their workouts are pretty hardcore and the titles usually give me a chuckle.

The Terminator! I, though female, visualize myself as Robert Patrick as in the T-1000 when I'm on the treadmill.

I'd go the opposite direction and give the workouts light and fluffy names. If you are trying to stick with a workout the last thing you need to do is remind yourself how hard it is with a macho name before you do it.

Yeah, I mostly looked through my iTunes catalog for names. The bonus is that you have some awesome music to listen to while doing the workouts. And the reverse is that if you hear the music on a random day, it reminds you/prompts you to work out. Memail me if you want any of these songs. I also disagree with the 'fluffy' suggestion. After finishing a workout I'd love to say "I just finished doing Mind of a Lunatic" as opposed to "I just did bunny slippers." But go with whatever gets you to work out. I would also give you workout exercises to go with these songs if you wanted.

Please post the workouts when you have named them! Or memail them to me - this is a great idea and I could use some variety in my workouts.

I think the point of the question is to find cool nicknames for the badass people who are doing the workouts. In that vein, I suggest Finisher, Megatron, and Ali.

I've been waiting for an excuse to share this list ever since I joined MetaFilter. I conjured it from the ether during an epic eight-hour brainstorming session at work. (I didn't do much working that day.) These names were originally meant for a Savage clan I was forming, but your examples seem more on the badass side of things so I think they fit well enough. I'll just paste in my emails to my friend so you can see how the list developed. The names appear in each email in the exact order I thought of them. Some information has been redacted. The first section is the last part of an unsent draft.

Not sure of your gender, but perhaps look to roller-derby for some really spectacular inspiration? A lot of the names would work for both men and women. (I'm totally calling myself Aeon Flex the next time I head to the gym.)

BTW- totally forgot about BoomStick. Love Evil Dead!
I hope you all had fun. I'm so glad you could help :)
