AOL Message Board Archives?

As a teenager, I participated on an AOL politics message board (one that you accessed from the AOL application, not from the web). This would've been 2000-2003, or thereabouts. Do you know if the archives for these forums exist on the web anywhere?

I'm not looking for anything specific, just thought it would be cool to see what people were talking about as well as my own (likely absurd) contributions to the dialogue.

Have you tried searching for your old screen name or signature? That might find some saved conversations. It looks like for the most part, those were axed in 2009. Most of the threads I've seen so far look like this one
