unidentified robot gun toys

Can you identify this toy? It's a miniature robot-looking thing, made of plastic, with a peg on the chest and a peg-sized hole on the back, and retractable gun barrels behind the legs. Video included inside.

I found these toys in one of my attic boxes. They have been there for at least 12 years. I only vaguely remember these, but I have no idea where they came from or what they are.

Are they possibly a sub-breed of Transformers Headmasters?

Best answer: My brother had those! Definitely Transformers, and though I don't remember the exact line Targetmasters sounds right. They came with a bigger Transformer, as sidekicks/guns.
