What was this band I saw in the Chicago suburbs?

The man played on a huge string instrument with his hands, dipped in chalk, while he bent down and used his gloved hand as the bow.

Then some girls wanged it on drums that they held on their waists and this guy played the cello.

Then he dipped his hands in chalk and rubbed them against some strings that encompassed the whole stage. Like a a huge violin. Then he went back and played his cello. But the drumming girls were always there in the background.

So who were these guys?

Response by poster: Having looked them up, not sure. The guy was wicked good on cello. And some girls in the background on drums and I mean really good. Then he jumped up and ran his hands along the big strings and played them. And then he sat back down and played the cello.

When did you see them? And do you remember where?

Response by poster: It was at a holistic health show at one of the big hotels near O'Hare. Maybe the Hilton? They had everything there from wooden finger labyrinths to Indian dresses, all kinds of stuff on display and for sale. At about 7:00 at night, this band played in a big auditorium nearby (in the same complex).

Response by poster: That has to be it, timsteil. I did some more research and I believe you are correct. Thanks!
