Internet Q&A, city style.

I'm looking for city-specific internet forums for Cleveland and Dayton, OH. Any recommendations?

Madison, WI has the forums at TheDailyPage (from a local paper, The Isthmus). They are a pretty good place to ask almost any question - from health club recommendations to pick-up games to info about neighborhoods. Are there similar forums for Cleveland, OH and Dayton, OH? Metromix is too focused on restaurants and nightlife. Are the forums at Cleveland.com any good? Any other Cleveland-specific forums I should look into? And is there anything comparable for the Dayton area? Googling Dayton Forum turns up some at topix.com, but again I'm not sure about the quality of the responses. Thanks!

Best answer: The forums at Cleveland.com are toxic, and the Topix forums have a very poor reputation. Metromix Cleveland is closing. Your best bet for city-centric Ohio forums is probably UrbanOhio.

I looked on columbusunderground.com, which is the Columbus version of what you're talking about, and alas, I only found a thread bemoaning the lack of such a site for Cleveland, and nothing on Dayton.

I have had luck on chow.com when visiting other cities, but unfortunately, that'll only get you restaurant info.

Cleveland.com is practically the plague. n'thing UrbanOhio... Not perfect, but the best I've found (and I've looked a bit).
