Looking for the film/DVD "Jazz A Marciac, 2004"

I'm looking for a film called "JAZZ À MARCIAC 2004" by Frank Cassenti. It's a performance by Charlie Haden and the New Liberation Orchestra, in Maciac, France (2004). I'm particularly interested in the tune entitled "Throughout", with Carla Bley and an ensemble backing the tune, with killer tenor sax solos by Chris Cheek and Tony Malaby. I can get the album on Amazon ("Not in Our Name"), but I want the video. Thanks, in advance. Happy Holidays!

Best answer: It appears that the film is part of a TV series. I haven't been able to locate an actual DVD (hopefully someone can)...but it might be worth a shot to contact the Jazz in Marciac Festival office directly, explain as above that you're a fan of the band/music, and ask how to get a copy of the video of that performance. Here's the page on their website about Charlie Haden and the New Liberation Orchestra from the 2004 festival (August 5th); it may be easier to reference the link. Looks like there's an option to contact the festival folks by email; they're also on Twitter and Facebook.

There's also an official YouTube channel for the festival (it has some really nice videos, which you may have already seen) but I didn't find any selections from the 2004 New Liberation Orchestra performance. In any case, it might also be worth putting in a request for clips from the performance (e.g. "Throughout") -- the channel has some clips from concerts in 2005 and earlier, so maybe it's possible to get that into their list of videos to upload.

The closest I could come to this is a recording of the LMO in Perugia, italy, on July 12th, 2004. It includes the tune Throughout, by Bill Frisell. Unfortunately, this is audio only. If you're into the trader's / torrents thing, you could check Dimeadozen, which features a number of recordings by the LMO. Plus, I definitely remember having seen something on a tracker about a video performance of the LMO, on the same tour (but I think it was in Perugia too).

Response by poster: Still looking - MANY thanks for all the feedback. Here's what I have so far. I've written the Jazz at Marciac office, twice (once in English; once in French) - no response. I may call them. The film was made by Frank Cassenti, who has done a bunch of other stuff. I think he's French.

VO: Charlie Haden Liberation Music Orch feat. Carla Bley. Marciac 8/5/04 - there was an 1 audio and a VCD/DVD made. DVD was in distribution for while but it got pulled. I am searching. I want this disc, bad.

Response by poster: Found it! Even the filmmaker didn't have a copy, but a deep search on the web (almost 6 hours of searching!) found a collector who was willing to sell me his DVD!! Thanks, all!
