New Years Eve on the silver screen

What are some movies that include New Years Eve as an important part of the setting and/or plot?

I'm looking for some movies where New Years Eve plays a significant part in the story. This could be central to the movie's setting, as in the movies 200 Cigarettes and New Years Eve or it could be something along the lines of a movie where NYE plays an important but non-central role, such as When Harry Met Sally, which features New Years Eve in the memorable last scenes but not throughout the entirety of the film. I'm not fussy about movie genres - any will do.

IMDb does keyword searches. Here is New Year's Eve sorted by rating. Kim Morgan at Sunset Gun wrote about New Year's movies a couple of years ago.

No NYE list would be complete without It's a Wonderful Life.

In Entrapment (1999), the central heist occurs during the final seconds leading up to NYE 2000.

Peter's Friends is completely set in the few days between Christmas and New Year's Eve, with its final scenes set on the stroke of midnight. Also, Stephen Fry/Hugh Laurie plus many more!

IIRC it's in The Fourth Protocol (or if not some other Mefite might correct me) where the opening scene is the blowing open of a safe, timed to happen at midnight on NYE when all the fireworks go off.

Has no bearing on the story (and the book doesn't) but the movie of The Time Machine begins on New Year's Eve of the (previous) millenium.
