Is wikipedia accurate about instruments of the chinese government?

According to the article history, lot of the information is added from a "CIA website", probably this one.

What part of it do you question? It's pretty typical for a communist information service.

Only a few phrases stuck out at me -- "among the premier world news agencies." -- "employs more than 10,000 people, as compared to about 1,300 for Reuters" -- etc. It just occured to me that wikipedia is succeptible to organized manipulation by gov. employees (not succeptible to disorganized manipulation by individuals).

Oh. OK. Now that I've burrowed through the history, those claims are apparently from the CIA report you mentioned. Nevermind.
