Ever used an Alpha-Stim machine?

I have an anxiety disorder, and my psychiatrist tried an Alpha-Stim (cranial electrotherapy stimulation) on me a few days ago. The experience was pleasant but not lasting. I'm told I'll have to use it 2-3 times a week, 20 minutes at a time for a few weeks before I'll know if it's truly effective. So, I'm wondering if anyone here has regularly used one of these or knows anyone who has, and what the experience was like?

I used one for a while, it neither helped me nor hurt me in any way that I could tell.

Dunno about that, but I had nature's shocktherapy once (I'm an epileptic) and that for sure works.

I remember after my first seizure, I was visiting my neurologist for a follow up about 3 weeks after my first full on seizure. I remarked that I felt totally a peace with my life and and completely calm. I asked him if it was related to the seizure. He said it was extremely common and that it wore off after a short while.

Hm, depending on where you are, infralow neurofeedback is a better idea.
