Multiurl help!

My teacher wife has been using multiurl.com for years to stash links for her students. The site was evidently taken off line, with no warning, due to abuse by spammers. My wife has no backup of the links she had stored there.
I've contacted the company, VLD Interactive (located in toronto), via the contact form to see if there is any way to recover her lists of links, I've not heard back (of course it is a weekend).
She has spent years accumulating these links.
I've checked the wayback machine and, although there are some pages stored, there aren't many and her lists (about 15) aren't included, I'm asking her to check the firefox cache on her work laptop on monday to see if they show up there.
Any other ideas as to how to regain this data?

Response by poster: dfriedman...that's good news. When I try to go to multiurl.com, I get "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
I'm wondering if the site is tracking IP addresses and is refusing ours because the wife has been trying to access it... hmmm..

Best answer: Following is the message I see when I visit the site:
Update:
Due to becoming a target of a phishing ring and MultiURL's redirect service being used to mask milicious spam and phishing attempts we are forced to shut down the service temporary as we examine how we can resolve this issue and provide the best service going forward.
We have setup many measures to battle spam and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Be we assure you all your data and links you have created in the past is secure stored and saved with multiple backups.
As soon as we have any updates we will update this blog.

tomswift: I'm getting a 403 Forbidden on their homepage as well, and I've never visited multiurl before, so it's not just you. On the other hand, I can access their login page at http://www.multiurl.com/account/login — you might see where that takes you.

When I go to multiurl.com the site works fine for me, at least I don't see anything about spammers or 403 or whatever. Maybe it's back up?

Response by poster: Yep, the login page is there, logging in times out... perhaps it's on it's way back...
thanks all, the better half put a lot of work into those pages... we'll encourage her to back up the links if/when it comes back all the way.

She's already backed the collection up now that she's regained access, right?

Assuming that is true shouldn't this problem resolve itself?
