What's the weather like in mid-November in OKC?

My daughter is being flown down to OKC in a week or so, to interview for a paid summer internship. Yay her!!!

It'll just be a fly-down/overnight/meet/fly-out thing. Any suggestions on how warm/cold she should dress for would be appreciated. She'll be coming down from Indiana, fwiw.

Bring layers. In the last week we have had beautiful 70 degree weather, 70 degree weather with 40 mph winds, 40 degree weather, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail and a dozen earthquakes. i would suggest a sweater and a medium weight jacket that if necessary she can combine. I doubt she will need a heavy duty coat unless she will be doing lots of outdoor things- meaning daytime temps will probably at least reach the 50's, if not higher.

Check the forecast on one of the local news stations on the internet - KFOR.com, www.newsok.com, they will be pretty reliable. Should be warmer than where you are unless something weird happens. As of now, it looks to be pretty nice next week, atleast until the end of the week.

Aside from whatever tornadoquake protection she wants to take, if the weather the night before suggests lows below 60 she may want to take a real coat. The wind in Oklahoma does not go around you, it just goes straight through.

Response by poster: Thanks all.
She got rain during her stay in OKC. But, she got the internship!
