Mini Mouses (Mice)

[SmallMouseFilter]My sister has two adopted children, ages 3 and 1.5. The 3-year-old is quite adept with the mouse for their desktop PC, but struggles with the size of said mouse. I've looked around for smaller, kid-sized mice, but all of them are wired. The Google-Fu in this one is weak. Anyone have experience with a "mini" mouse that is also wireless?

My kids use this. Works well, fits their hands.

Don't look for "kid" mice, what you need is a laptop mouse. They're generally smaller than full size and wireless. Both Logitech and Microsoft have good ones.

I think they'll learn to use the standard sized one eventually. Is the fact that they are adopted something you'd like us to consider in our answer? I'm not sure how that might change our answers. It doesn't change mine.

Chiming in to back up the recommendations for a laptop mouse; I just bought a wireless mouse for my laptop and found that most of them were too small for me. You may want to go to your local big box computer store and check the different models out in person. There seem to be relatively few bluetooth models around, but the one I got with a mini-USB transciever works well.

Laptop mice are all wireless, and teeny. They're not expensive, so when they want bigger mice, you're out maybe 30$. I have used both Logitech and Microsoft and found them nearly identical, perhaps you can let the children choose the one they find most attractive -- these often come in different colours and styles.

I have this Microsoft bluetooth Notebook mouse, and it's quite good if Bluetooth is an option.
