What to gift a polo enthusiast?
It's her birthday, and she loves to play polo and ride horses. Now, I've got a few friends who are willing to chip in for the gift, but let's keep it less than $100. I realize everything polo is incredibly expensive. Any thoughts?

does she have her own horse(s)? What about taking her for a horseback riding trip in the woods + picnic?

Response by poster: No, she doesn't have her own horses, and I'm not romantically involved with her, so that might be weird. I think tickets to a match or gift certificates are a good idea.

Best answer: Does she have a favorite team? Here in Wellington (FL) there are several shops that sell team shirts. Depending on her polo investment, maybe you can chip in towards a custom mallet?

How about a two-year subscription to a magazine? Polo Players Edition and The Polo Magazine could be interesting. Sidelines has some polo content too, and I'm extra fond of it because my old trainer Erin is writing for it :)
