Can you help me pinpoint the perfect messenger/shoulder bag?

Dearest Metafilter,
I was recently given a gift card to Amazon so thought I'd finally cave in and get one of those not-a-purse purses that I desperately need. I've managed to find a couple, but my requirements are starting to narrow down the selection.

Basically, I want the size, function and price range of this, but the aesthetically pleasing exterior of this.

Do you know of any canvas bags or brands, preferably on Amazon, that are within the $20-30 price range, and are about 10x8, with front compartments and squanky leather (or faux-leather) trim?

Thank you so much!

There is another discussion about messenger bags (pricier, more serious ones) that was posted just yesterday. I don't know how to link to it but it was posted at October 15, 2011 11:37 PM with a highlighted reference to Thinkgeek's Bag of Holding.

Metahawk is referring to this discussion, however that question is referring to more of large laptop bags that are more expensive than what you are looking for.

Go to an Army Navy store. They have cool-looking messenger bags, rugged and masculine, in your the price range. They'll be called something like German military bags. Or search online for canvas military bags or army shoulder bags. They won't have the leather trim but they have a different kind of coolness and cred.
