How many swimming pool permits did the state of Hawaii issue in 2010?

It looks like the Sanitation Department only cares about permits for public pools. If you want to include residential swimming pools, I doubt you can find a real answer beyond a study of building permits issued by every code enforcement authority in the state.

The Swimming Pool Association of Hawaii would be a good place to ask, however.
