What type of website is it?

It would help if you told us the reason why it was banned.

Basically the way to go about this is to use Google Webmaster Tools to check and see what the current status of your sites are. It can take a few days for data to get in there. They give measures of "site health" and I'm guessing you'll see something in there. My guess would be spyware infestation, that's the most common Google ban reason I've seen.

(I can never tell what the deal is with linking in here when it's about a website. I see people say never link ever and I see people link and it has not been an issue. Sometimes it's impossible to be definitively helpful *unless* the questioner includes a link, as in this case.)

Response by poster: @restless_nomad oops, added it to my profile info
@bq see profile link
@KogeLiz see profile link tld Google Adwords claim my site is a bridge page. If it is, it is a very popular bridge page that many people like and use
@artlung nothing shows up under webmaster tools for this particular site

Nothing shows up? And you've added the site using either the file or meta tag method?

No, he means, nothing shows up in Google?

It looks like you're in violation of the policy, and they are telling you so.

Have you considered altering the content? Perhaps f you change the nature of the site. I wonder if you added some content which might be unique you might get a new reconsideration. Rather than simply having you both disagree. When you and disagree as to a claim, getting Google to change its mind sounds unlikely. If you make some changes to the site, the argument is rather stronger.

I'm not seeing the Google Webmaster Tools add a site meta tags in your source code. I'm not convinced you've actually added the site to Webmaster Tools.

As for content to add, you might add a small section with "read more about filleritem" - there appears to be quite a few happy customers who have used your service and describe it as unique. I think that strengthens your case considerably, though that's just my intuition.

Know what's funny, is I just went to look at it so I could come here and say "Well, of course your site doesn't deserve to be on Google, and if you want to be there, it's your responsibility to add something of value."

But you know what? To my surprise it was a site I used personally less than a week ago, and was pleased with.

Google says it bans "Websites that consistently feature a small number of merchants or service providers when displaying user search results with no additional functionality or unique content." - This may not be the most impressive site in the world, but it absolutely provides additional functionality.

Do you know for sure if a real person saw it, as opposed to an automated system that just saw amazon link after amazon link and drew a reasonable but incorrect conclusion?

Its a neat little app you have there but I think you may be SOL - your site is a bridge page to a single online merchant. Their policy leaves them a lot of wiggle room, "minimal" does not have a fixed definition and gives them plenty of scope to decide what is or isn't enough "unique" functionality. Its a shame but its their sandbox, their rules.

Try to find other large online sites that have similar free shipping policies and add engines for those sites too - that might be enough to bypass the single merchant issue (no guarantee though since you wont be merging search results)

While I'm not sure about the google stuff, I'm sure thankful for the link, just added it to my shopping bookmarks, I've needed this for a long time! I agree if you could also link the info to other sites that have free shipping threshholds it might get around google and help out your users/clients/whomever.
Hope you get it worked out!
