Can someone recommend some reliable web sites where I can check reviews for Doctor's in my Area (NJ)? I know there are a ton of sites but I don’t know which ones are reliable I live in NJ Also somebody recommended yelp in one of the other posts here but a quick search there did not reveal any result with more than 1 review for my area. Also, there were only few practices with reviews. Basically I just want to find out a little bit more about the doctor before I visit him / her. Any suggestions?

You can try this website but be warned that there may be some challenges with this type of approach as described in this article.

I've had really good luck with Yelp for all kinds of reviews.

Check for a bulletin board on the the website of a small local paper, or maybe a listseve for your neighborhood. They can be good resources for this kind of thing.
