Facebook Privacy!

Facebook Privacy: Is there a way to create a list of people who are able to view your profile (and all the activity on your timeline/wall contributed by others) but without the ability to see photos you are tagged in? So that the only photos they can see are the ones you have previously assigned as a profile photo.

I ask this because I would like to block some content (i.e only tagged photos) to colleagues who have added me on Facebook. However, if I simply add them onto a restricted list this leaves my profile barren since they are not able to see any content posted by others on my profile -only the occasional 'like' or status update. Ideally I would like everything on there sans tagged photos.

It used to be possible, that's how I had set it up, but with the last change, I can't find the option anymore. I'm guessing Facebook thought the new option to "approve" tagged pictures before they show up on your profile, we didn't need that function anymore, or something.

Best answer: In the "How Tags Work" section of your Privacy Settings, there's an option to "Set Maximum Visibility" of things you're tagged in. If you create a group of "special friends", you can set tagged stuff to be visible only to them.

Note that this applies to all content, not just photos, but that's probably what you want anyway. You can always override it on individual items, I think.

Response by poster: mkultra - I don't know how what you said worked, but it did. Thank you.

I just followed mkultra's instructions and and excluded a pre-made list of people.
