What is the average value of all cars currently registered and on the road?
So for example say my car was to be involved in an accident with another unknown car, it could be any car from a beater to a luxury barge - what would the average value of that unknown car? Are there any sites that list this data. I am not really concerned with geography or social or economic factors, just the average value of the automobiles on the road.

For our town (New England, 30k population), there are 26,739 vehicles worth a total of $164 million, for an average of $6158 each.
