Help me remember a quote about marriage.

I read a quote about marriage (or perhaps relationships) a couple of weeks ago and now I can't remember it or find it. Something about not keeping score, or not trying win battles.

Are you possibly thinking of 1st Corinthians? The relevant passage starts at verse 4.

Response by poster: That's not what I recently read, but good stuff nonetheless.

Was it funny? Could it have been that Ogden Nash poem, "“To keep your marriage brimming, With love in the loving cup, Whenever you're wrong, admit it; Whenever you're right, shut up”?

Response by poster: Nope, wasn't that one, nor was it funny, but still a good quote.

"Remember marriage is not a contest – never keep a score. God has put the two of you together on the same team to win."
