Has anyone attended the Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference in Beijing? I'm not a lawyer or an academic, but I am interested in learning more about property rights in China. Should I attend?

The conference fee seems a little steep ($490), but if you could afford it, it seems like a good way to acquaint yourself with property rights and get a chance to meet Justice O'Connor. My only concern is that if you don't have any substantial background in property rights, you might be hard-pressed to make conversation with the other conference attendees.

Thanks elisse, that's a good observation.
