Where can I find (and buy) parts for a 1935 Reo Speedwagon Fire Truck?

The radiator cap was stolen from my department's Reo, and we are looking for a replacement. My google-fu failing me. Thanks in advance.

Try writing to these people (several email addresses with the ads) and see what they have. If they don't have the right part, they might be able to connect you to a Reo owner who does.

OEM replacement parts are not always available for classic and vintage vehicles so might take some leg work to find, I'd start my search with this club ask them and go from there. It's really the best way to tap into resources for this kind of thing since a shop may not have the part but Bob, who has a stockpile of parts in his garage, may have a spare and a club would know this kind of thing. I have a friend who went to a club meeting with 2 valves for a 1949 Norton ES2 and a couple years later had a running motorcycle, he wouldn't have been able to complete the bike without the club.

Also check The Visiting Fireman as there are many mechanics and owners of antique fire trucks listed there. If no one in New England has the part you are looking for I am certain that at least you will get some leads on where to find it.
