I need some good "Free Libra Open Source Software" projects to nominate for my local Linux User Group any one have any suggestions? We seem to be running short on some worthy nominees. List some good ones and a good reason why I should propose this to our LUG we have a fairly active and solid group.

What is the LUG going to do when the project is nominated? Use it? Promote it? Contribute code? Sponsor it? And does this software need to run on Linux? Or is Windows-only software okay?

Response by poster: its just a donation box that we use to put money towards open source projects we try to donate to a new one every month.

Response by poster: Anything that is Free Libra Open Source Software is acceptable. Our Lug tends to branch out fairly often.
