Help me replace my 557's!

What jeans are similar to Levi's 557 Relaxed Boot Cut jeans? If you own both a pair of 557's and a similar pair of jeans, what is the other brand? I would especially like to find another one in the $30-$40 range.
Levi 557's fit me quite well and are inexpensive and durable. So, of course, they have discontinued them. I'm quite picky about jeans, am tall and somewhat muscular, so most jeans do not fit well. I'm aware of the 527's, but they suck. So, if you own a pair that are very similar to the 557 Levi's, sing out!

I'm a girl but fan of the same jeans. Eddie Bauer's boot cut jeans work very well for me.

Same problem. I bought them religiously until I figured out that shrink-to-fit 501's worked even better if I kept them on long enough (1-2 weeks) for the thighs to stretch out a bit.

You should give Wrangler's Cowboy Cut a try. I've been wearing them exclusively for several years ever since finding a pair at Goodwill. They are right in the same price range and made with a very durable denim. In fact, I once took a spill while cornering on my bicycle and slid around the pavement for about 20 feet. The only damage to my Cowboy Cut jeans was the loss of some dye at the point of contact, but there were no holes or tears.
