Where would you post an advert for a house for sale in Princeton which would have great appeal for a kayaker or naturalist?

Princeton, NJ? On the canal?

You could try the buildings that house the offices for related departments on campus. Maybe a call to the department secretary/ies could get it posted IN the office. Also, isn't there a canoe launch on Alexander near that big curve in the road? Maybe there's a spot there. Might want to waterproof it there, though - laminate it or stick it something.

Craigslist? Tiger Trade?

But given the worth of houses in Princeton, I would think you'd be dealing with the sort of caliber of buyer who isn't going to look for postings nailed to trees or on public bulletin boards, but rather MLS listings.

Amro is 100% right. You are far more likely to find a person who is already looking for a house in Princeton and finds the canal location an interesting asset, rather than an avid kayaker who decides to drop a million dollars on a house after seeing an ad at TJ's. Play it up in your listing, but don't expect kayak-appeal alone to bring in a buyer.
