Writing a will in D.C.

Looking for recommendations for a competent lawyer to help me create a will in Washington, D.C.

I don't need any help w/estate planning - just a simple, binding, legally thorough will that will minimize the hassle for my heirs, if it comes to that.

I'd prefer to work w/someone who has an office in town, vs. MD/NOVA.

Best answer: I used Matt Kaiser, he charged about $1,000 for wills for my wife and I. He came to our house to do everything, which was great when we had a new baby.

I would recommend him.

Best answer: Read up online, or at the library, so you know what you want. The less time the lawyer has to spend with you, explaining, and asking about preferences, the less it will cost.
