Best seat in the Arclight Dome?

What are the best seats in the Arclight Dome theater in Hollywood?

Really trivial question, I know, I'm checking this place out while in town, and I'd like to make the most of the experience. Basically it's either second row center balcony (first row is full) or anywhere else. Is the floor better or worse than the balcony?

Best answer: In the Dome, the floor seats will give you a good feel for the size of the screen (the center seats are the best for this). The center balcony seats will still give you a good view but it won't necessarily feel as dramatic as being down on the floor; on the other hand, I find that being in the front (or near-front) balcony tends to be better for not getting my view obstructed by the person in front of me. So it depends on the experience you're going for.

I like the floor better, but I'm tall. Glad you're going, it's really a great place, I think.

I saw Avatar in 3D at the Dome and had special VIP Tickets. They put me in the second level center, and I was not happy with the effect---it wasn't as dramatic as a closer position on the floor.

Sit in the middle of the row, not too far back. You will be fine. Arclight is all about going to a nice theater that doesn't have a vomit inducing reel of trivia or sponsored "content" playing before your movie starts. It's a premium experience, if a little sterile. Picture and sound are always excellent. You might want to think about trying the Chinese or Egyptian for the historic movie palace experience too.
