Recommendation For A Caterer in Long Island?

I'm getting married in September, and the rehearsal dinner's going to be at my parent's house in Oyster Bay, Long Island. I'm looking for recommendations for Long Island or nearby caterers you've had a good experience with.

We've had great experiences (mostly) with the vendors we're using, many of them recommended by people here. I don't have my heart set on a specific type of food for this dinner, but I'm really hoping to find someone who will work closely with us to plan a menu, make suggestions, and generally make the experience easy for my parents.

Thanks!

Elegant Affairs and Philip Stone are the big "caterers" out there. They are both fine. If you don't need a "Caterer" caterer there are better options, but if its formal sit down w/ waiters et al, those are your best choices unless you want to step up price wise and get Feasts and Fetes, Boulud's firm.

Diane's in Roslyn supposedly does catering. If you don't need a caterer caterer, I'd check them out. Desserts there are great.

If you are looking for something uber-casual, then there is another set of options.

But really the options aren't amazing. Its part of why my wife and I decided not to get married out there.

Also "In Long Island"? "On Long Island" Has the self-loathing gotten so bad we're ignoring the classic regionalism. I might cry.

Philip Stone did my wedding, years and years ago, and then my BIL's wedding rather more recently, both in Oyster Bay. I thought they were fine, if not astonishing. Ours was finger food, BIL's was a sit down dinner and it was very nice, even if I don't recall every detail.
