Tell me all about Zouk!

I have recently discovered Brazilian Zouk and have lots of questions about the dance. Since I don't have a pro in the area familiar with the dance, I'll turn to AskMeFi.
I apologize for the breadth of this in advance!
* What is an acceptable range for social dancing tempo?
* Are there lists of popular social songs?
* Any recommendations for instructional DVDs? English language is important; discussing the connection in addition to footwork is appreciated.
* Who are the pros that I can look up on Youtube?

Other than that, I can't really help - there doesn't seem to be much zouk dancing around my area either.
