I'm thinking of an 80s pop hit...

I'm thinking of an 80s song, common in movie soundtracks, that starts with a sung "Oh we oh we oh we oh wee ohh Ahhh". The google, it does nothing. Any ideas?

Baltimora frontman Jimmy McShane was in fact a native of Northern Ireland. Carry on! (Why I felt compelled to research the incredibly pertinent fact, I do not know.)

But the vocals on Tarzan Boy are actually Maurizio Bassi, who's from Italy, although the music video ignores him in favor of Jimmy McShane (who died of AIDS).

God, I remember that song most vividly as the soundtrack to a mouthwash commercial. It's odd getting nostalgic for the commercials of one's youth...

Thanks for that Tarzan Boy link. Now I know where Bill Nighy got his moves for the character he played in Love Actually!
