What herbs, spices, or other materials (other than marijuana) have you vaporized for therapeutic benefits?

I'd like to know specifically what you've used your vaporizer (such as the Magic Flight Launch Box) for other than getting high. For example, can you use any kind of herb you'd use for aromatherapy (say, lavender for relaxation/stress relief, or sage and cloves for pain relief) in there? Which substances work best for what? Do you buy your herbs at the grocery or health food store or do you need some other kind of grade/quality level to vaporize?

Are there any benefits to vaporizing these kinds of substances as opposed to using essential oils, inhaling aromas, etc?

And finally, if you also use marijuana in your vaporizer, do you find it has a carryover scent so your other herbs/materials have a little tinge of THC, and is this problematic?

I have smoked damiana and sage pleasurably. Definitely get it from a health food type supplier that's selling the herbs for medicinal/human consumption purposes. Catnip works on people, too.

Like you have mentioned, lavender is my favourite herb to vaporize.

I've drastically reduced my weed consumption from everyday to once a month month (and less than that recently!) and used Lavender to help with cutting back. It works wonders. I began by drinking it in a tea, and recently have been vaporizing lavender when I'm in a panicky mood or can't sleep. It helps a lot.

Some of my friends are big sage burners, but I personally can't stand the smell. I think lemon balm, mint and rosemary are next on my vaporizing list.
