Can someone help me find a Plastic/Acrylic artist that was posted on MeFi last summer???

There was an artist posted on MeFi around last summer/spring and I need help finding their name. I've searched for quite a while over the past week. I believe they melted plastic over busts, can anyone help me??? Here is an example of their work.

There's also Ted Riederer, who often works in the medium of melted records:
He was posted here as well, I believe, and this is probably one of the more famous examples of his work.
