You givin' me the high hat?

Help! Name that movie! I only remember a single scene: the movie is set in the 20s or 30s, I think, and one of the characters- who I believe is a chubby little guy with a moustache- is obsessed with the idea that people are "givin' him the high hat."

Note: despite Google's insistence, the movie is *not* Miller's Crossing.

Response by poster: It totally is Miller's Crossing! I am so wrong- I mixed up Miller's Crossing with Blood Simple and just wasted this week's question! Thanks all.

Best answer: Jon Polito plays a chubby little guy with a mustache that says that in Miller's Crossing. I know you said it's not Miller's Crossing, but it's easy to misremember a movie or other media. For example, a lot of people insist that there's a Samsonite Gorilla, but it was really an ad for American Traveler luggage. Have you tried checking Miller's Crossing clips on YouTube?

Best answer: An all-time great movie. Unquestionably and only Miller's Crossing. We only take yeggs what's been to college.
