Where might I find this spring jacket?

I'm looking for a women's jacket that I've been seeing around town lately, and I'm hoping someone with better search skills than mine can help me find it!
I'll try to describe it: hip length pea coat in wool or wool-blend, sometimes double-breasted, usually with a little faux-belt in the back (a strap with buttons on either side), and full sleeves. At separate times today I saw two women today wearing a navy blue one and a bright yellow one, respectively. (I'm kicking myself for not asking one of them where they got it, but I'm quite shy sometimes).
It's very springy, feminine and casual. The closest I found was
this which is almost the right length (if it were a tad shorter) and general style, but not quite right. Maybe the color and black buttons are a little heavy for spring. I would be happy to find a yellow, blue, pink or light-colored plaid version. I just want something to wear with jeans and flats or sneakers that is slightly more polished than my usual fare.
I didn't think it would be this hard to find something I'm seeing everywhere! Response by poster: That's the right style, but I'm looking for one much shorter, with a hem that hits the top of your jeans (but not shorter than that, as in a cropped jacket). Thanks for the link, though--I always forget about asos!

Best answer: Old navy did cropped wool peacoats in a bunch of bright colors for this past winter, but they are gone now. Maybe check ebay for Old Navy cropped peacoat?

Response by poster: Thanks for the help and links, everyone! I suspected that it was perhaps a style from another season, and so Cecic's suggestion really helped. I found this super cute purple jacket on ebay and made an offer.
And now I just need some new flats...:)

I have a strong suspicion you're seeing this Old Navy jacket from last fall. It's kind of a hybrid peacoat/motorcycle jacket style, hits at the hip, lightweight and came in many different colors. Completely independent of each other, my mother, sister and myself all bought this jacket for ourselves, and I've seen it on LOTS of other women.

Papaya, Forever 21, and similar fashiony, mally, "we purport to be aimed at 17 yr olds but all you ever see in there are grown ass women" shops had variations on this coat, as of a few months ago.
