Please identify some of the people in the video for Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas":
2:05- guy in the black turtleneck (there's a closeup of him at 2:13)
2:43- blond guy behind Sting (not George Michael, the other one)
2:54- goofy guy with the braided hair
3:27- blond guy
3:29- another blond guy (it's not Pete Burns, is it? He seems so familiar but I can't place him)
3:39- guy wearing hat

I can answer a few of them:
2:05 - guy in the black turtleneck - Glenn Gregory, lead singer of Heaven 17
3:29- another blond guy- Marilyn, Boy George's erstwhile boyfriend and one hit pop wonder
3:39- guy wearing hat - Andy Taylor, guitarist for Duran Duran

3:29 - I think that WAS a pre-plastic surgery Pete Burns or one of the guys from Jean Loves Jezebel.
Also, was that blonde guy in the plaid Dave Wakeling?

Holy shit, this song has been in my head randomly since last night. YOU HAVE INCEPTED ME.
2:05 - I think that's Glen Gregory of Heaven 17, as the dark haired guy looks like Martyn Ware to me, but idk for sure.
3:39 - he is definitely a Duran Duran dude, but I'm not sure which one. One of the Taylors.

This wiki link has a list of them. Am looking for photos of all of those to see if I can match it up to 2:43, but someone else may be quicker.

I see benzo beat me to it, but 2:43 is definitely Simon Crowe.

3:27 is, I think, Rick Parfitt from Status Quo. That's the blond that Paul Young says something to. Then, at 3:29 the blond with the straight hair is Marilyn.

3:27 - Rick Parfitt
3:29 - Marilyn
3:39 - Andy Taylor

slight sidenote to the question: Midge Ure's autobiography, If I Was, contains an interesting chapter on the making of the song and the participation of all the various musicians that day, including such tidbits that Boy George had to be berated into participating by Bob Geldof (phone call on the morning of the recording: Sleepy George in New York: "uhhhh, who's in the studio?" Furious Bob: "EVERY CUNT EXCEPT YOU. There's a Concorde flight at 9:30. Get on it."), Marilyn wasn't invited in the first place but just "turned up" and so was included anyway, and Bob Geldof and Paul Weller despised each other but agreed to put aside their mutual loathing for the sake of the record.
