You're All Just Faceless Now

Now that I've dutifully downloaded Firefox 4.0, why can I no longer see your profile pictures next to your posts and comments, fellow MeFis? What has Firefox done to my Greasemonkey script and how do I get your profile shots back in view?

Where did you find the script in the first place? I can't find anything of the sort on userscripts.org, but I want this bad now that I know it exists.

Yeah, I never knew that script existed, either. Would love to have it!

Secondary motive: if we had a copy, we could try to tinker with it in order to make it work with FF4 for you.

You're not the only one having trouble with Greasemonkey, but across-the-board solutions seem to be in short supply. Your best bet is if the script creator (or an enterprising programmer) tweaks it to work with the new browser version; on that note, here's the original MetaTalk post by grumblebee unveiling the profile picture script.

The link to the script is a dead link :(

Here is a working link.

Hmm. The link to the most current version of the scrip is dead. I am running 3.6 and the most recent version that I was able to download doesn't work. *sobs*

Damn. Hope our geniuses here on MetaFilter can fix this soon.
