is James Jamerson the bassist on the Four Tops' "Reach Out (I'll Be There)"?

are there any definitive sources for the answer to this question?

Best answer: According to the James Jamerson discography, yes. And all the other Motown sources I've found agree that Holland-Dozier-Holland used Motown's house band for the track, of which Jamerson was a key member.

Every credible source I have ever seen (including those above) points to it being Jamerson.
